Privacy Policy

The short version: QuoteCast does not collect, sell, or share your personal data. Your projects, room scans, estimates, and branding stay on your devices and in your own iCloud account. We never see them. There is no account, no tracking, no analytics, and no advertising.

What QuoteCast stores, and where

Your projects and related data — room dimensions, surfaces, openings, estimates, line items, pricebook presets, and branding — are stored locally on your device and synced across your Apple devices using Apple iCloud (CloudKit private database). This data lives in your personal iCloud account, governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. The developer of QuoteCast has no access to it. Nothing is sent to servers operated by QuoteCast or any third party.

Camera and LiDAR

The camera and LiDAR sensor are used only for on-device RoomPlan scanning, so QuoteCast can build an editable room model. Scan imagery and depth data are processed on your device and are not stored on or transmitted to our servers.

On-device processing

Takeoff math, estimating, and PDF and CSV generation all run entirely on your device. The contents of your projects are not transmitted to us or to any third party for processing.

No tracking, no analytics, no ads

We do not use analytics or tracking SDKs, we do not use advertising identifiers or track you across apps or websites, and QuoteCast contains no third-party SDKs. We do not collect any data — matching our App Store privacy label: Data Not Collected.

Subscriptions

Solo and Pro subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. Apple handles the transaction and any payment details; we never see your payment information. Subscription management is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

Your control

Because your data lives on your device and in your iCloud, you are always in control. You can delete any project, or remove the app and its iCloud data, at any time. You can also export your quotes as PDF and your data as CSV from within the app.

Children's privacy

QuoteCast does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.
